on saturday we bought a halflinger for our 9 year old daughter it had a sweet disposition very gentle. On sunday we tried to walk her and she wanted nothing to do with it i got her into the stall barely before she decided to tear the gate apart along with some of the barn  not fun. we need some advise as to breaking this horse this is our first horse and we want it to be a good experience for our daughter. We were told the horse was gentle   so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thank you
