Taiwan's prince of pop, Jay Chou, is in the middle of staging his third world tour. It is scheduled to start in Taipei next month and will eventually take him to venues all over the globe. Coinciding with this gigantic live event is the release of his latest album which features the new principal song "Cowboy On The Run". Composed by Jay and penned by Huang Jun Lang, the song drifts away from the usual mainstream sounds and carries a touch of old-time rural America. Still persisting with his own unique music style, Jay is all set to unfold his latest melodies.

Having already proven his acting chops and box office draw with the blockbusters Initial D and Curse of the Golden Flower, Taiwanese singer Jay Chou makes his directorial debut in 2007 with the romantic drama Secret. Jay stars as a high school student who has just transferred to a new school known for its music program. He meets and falls in love with a cute and mysterious classmate (Guey Lun Mei, Blue Gate Crossing), but she has a secret that can tear them apart. A gentle mix of music and puppy love, this sweet and subtle film adds another notch to Jay's long list of accomplishments.

Other than starring, directing, and creating the story for the film, Jay also took care of the music, which plays a key role in Secret. The soundtrack comes with the film's score and four theme songs, including title theme Secret, a soft British-style rock number with moving melody and lyrics.

Andy Lau is releasing his first Mandarin album in two years! Busy shooting the upcoming epic Romance of the Three Kingdoms: Resurrection of the Dragon, the star has kept a low profile in the past few months, so this album is a welcome return to music and the public eye for his fans. The new album's title means "A Cow's World of Fantasy", because Andy believes that the world from a cow's eyes must be simpler and more beautiful. Playing with the album's title and theme, the first plug is "Herdsman Flute", a ballad inspired by the classic folk tale "Cowherd and Weaving Girl". Directed by award-winning MV director Hsu Yun Ting, the music video for this soft, romantic song visualizes the classic tale with animated illustrations from renowned artist Wu Ling Wei. This album covers a range of music, with hip hop, R&B, and, of course, more Andy Lau-style ballads.
