January Rains

I don't know about the rest of you guys, but the weather up here has been downright ugly.

Freezing rain today!

My poor horse was miserable; I had to put him in early and console him with grain.

Sigh...

Then, I ate too much chocolate...and the day goes on.

Hello zhaz. I was just outside, and noticed that our driveway is a sheet of ice. It is a pretty long driveway, so I hope it will melt soon. I don't ever remember it being iced over before. We are supposed to have snow this weekend and into next week. It has snowed a couple of times here but nothing ever sticks.

I grew up on a farm and around show horses, so I can empathize with your horse; not much fun for them when the weather is like this. I hope you have a heated barn:-)
