Most Recent Posts Painted Pumpkin...Burnt toast and marshmallowsPosted Oct-03-06 10:58:25 PDT For some odd reason the studio smells like marshmallows and burnt toast...and has for two days now! i can only imagine what strange concoction one of the girls may have been brewing up in here, when i wasn't around, to create such a sickeningly sweet smell...sugar, spice, everything nice and of course a dash of chemical X..... i think the smell is affecting my art. i'll let you be the judge!beaded face cabsPosted Sep-27-06 00:07:27 PDT
So here's a little glimpse of one of the things i've been working on these days.... other than that, nothing new or exciting going on here ...just me and the beads...and the fabric... and the hum of the sewing machine... and me trying to avoid myself, and everyone else. Excessive Shipping - ebay cleaning house!Posted Jul-06-06 10:22:31 PDT Updated Jul-08-06 21:53:29 PDT If you haven't already seen this article then you might want to check it out. Ebay says that excessive shipping fees may be driving away potential customer from returning to ebay and they are finally going to do something about sellers charging these excessive shipping fees. I, for one, would never buy from someone that i feel has inflated shipping fees simply because if you are not happy with the item and need to return it you'll lose those shipping fees you paid. example: a seller offers a "buy it now" and you pay $2 for a small item (the refundable amount) and then another $20(or more) for shipping, then need to return the item for any reason, the seller has just made a huge profit and now has the item back in their possesion to sell it again. In all the mess of moving everything we own, so that the new carpet could be layed, i did manage to make some new teeny tiny faces. i think these are the smallest faces i've ever made and are hard to keep a hold of when painting! but they'll be perfect for making those teeny tiny art dolls. i'm sooooo happy! we're finallygetting some rain today...i know rain isn't all that exciting to most people but when you live in the southwest, and wildfire season is in full swing, every little drop counts! |
